  FANStone Music began writing and recording music in 1999 when Andy Fanstone & Rob Swan started recording some of our first original songs onto old cassette tapes, then onto reels and later hard drives.  A collection of our songs were recorded with friends and local musicians over many years, all our own original compositions creating new melodies, harmonies, and lyrics that have evolved over time, to some of our latest  songs being the best yet.

   Our music is from many different genres from rock to pop, blues and ballads, always trying new sounds and ideas. Now with the help of digital technology demo recordings can be made in a home studio and the quality is far better than those early days. Being able to capture the moment and record the songs as a demo recording helps format the songs and then record the songs again in a professional studio. 

   We are putting a band together to play some of these songs, and the new ones, we hope to be playing live soon.

  Kerrie Broughton has brought a new dimension to the music with her powerful vocals and exquisite feel, the new songs are nearly complete and we will be releasing them shortly.
